diva- those gray rear seats look to be in great shape, I would not let them go if you REALLY want rear seats.

As far as colors go, I'm into non-flashy colors. Black, white, darker blues and silvers. Red looks good on FCs, I am just not a huge fan of red. Blue with a black interior would look good. If the rear seat is an absolute pressing need, I would throw in the gray, but keep searching for a black one or eventually have the rear seat redone by an upholstery shop.
I kinda figured that about the rear seat. I've been searching for a little over 6 months now for a seat to go in the S5...or even the S4 until I can put it in the S5.

I actually went ahead and bid on the seat on ebay because there was no bids on it and really cheap! Like you said, I couldn't let them go. They look awesome. The seller said it's gray vinyl and the center cloth is blue but it must be a super light blue because it looks gray in the picture. I'll just have to see for myself. He also has the matching front seats which I am in need of too. He says there's some tearing but I'm waiting on pictures.

All the seats came out of his 90 Rx.

Use SEM color coat, its an aerosol dye. Its excellent on vinyl and carpet, however to coat the carpet thoroughly it might take a few cans, so you may want to use traditional dye for the carpet.

i realized after I changed my carpet, mats, and seats that the interior plays a huge roll in the quality look and feel of the car, take them to a shop and get a price to recover, it will make a really large impact on the quality of the car.

Thanks guys for the advice! I know a guy that does vinyl and other types of work on cars that did an awesome job on a replacement vinyl top for an old convertible I had. He was a bit old when he did that though and it was about 9 years ago so I will have to see if he is still around doing repair work. If not, maybe he left someone behind that also does great work. He did the top for about $500 and I had to be cut and sewn.

I'll just see how the seat looks and go from there.
