Question S5 Ownwes: Pin 2E at ECU. What color is the wire?

I have looked in the wiring diagram in the FSM but can't find what the color of the wire is. Doesn't tell me, unless I missed it.

Here is a pictures of the Pin locations on the S5 and S4 ECU. I just need the S5.

I need to know for the writeup about wiring up an electric fan in my sig.

Thanks in advance.

No I didn't. I have an S4 and when I need to look at a diagram I look in the FSM. For some reason in the S5 FSM wiring diagram, it doesn't tell you what color wire it is. So the color of that wire is exactly the same as the series 4 wire.

Thanks for the information though. Appriciate it.

For series 5 they made a separate wiring diagram manual.

And just to make sure, it's not the exact same, the stripe is WHITE instead of BLUE.

Right, if we are talking about pin 2E on both S4 and S5 ECUs then yes they are different.

But this wire at 2E on the S5 ECU comes from the water thermo sensor on the back of the WP housing. Pin 2I on a S4 ECU is for the same sensor and is the same color as the S5 wire.
