s5 na map sensor

So, I'm looking to rewire my SAFCII into my map sensor to mroe accurately adjust for boost, but I remember someone saying that the NA sensor didn't read much into boost, which makes sense. But, how much is NOT MUCH. like 1 psi? atm? Not that it would be hard to find out, but im only running 5-6 psi, and If the NA sensor just doesn't have that range, its much more worth my time to just order a motorola sensor and hook it up knowing it has the range I want, rather than messing with the stock sensor.
