S5 N/A -> JDM TII wiring... verify please :)

So I was just want to get this straight. I’ve been doing the research on doing a S5 NA to JDM swap. The mechanical part seems simple enough, it drops right in. The wiring is what I would like verified.

1, Use the USDM EM Harness
2, Extend the BAC Valve wires
3, Plug the VDI solenoid connector into the Knock Sensor
4, Plug the Boost Solenoid connector into the 6PI Solenoid

Is there any rewiring needed for the VDI and Boost Solenoid? Or is it just plug and play?

Thanks

it's not plug and play on those. you need to crimp/solder spade terminals for them.

I hear I have to to use shielded wiring for the knock sensor as well or else I get false knocks from interferance. Can someone confirm this as well??

since the s5 automatically retards your timing if it detects no or a problem with the knock sensor it might actually be a good idea to run a new shielded wire all the way back to the ECU.
