s5 n/a housing question

s5 n/a housing question

what other series/ models are the s5 rotor housings identical to? are they the same as the s5 turbo, or the 3rd gen housings ?? thanks anyone.

They are the same as S4 NA housings... turbo II housings have the coolant passage for the turbo.. 3rd gen housings have a harder chrome coating.... I think thats all pretty accurate.

gotya, i found a 94 rx7 rotor on ebay, i cant use that in my s5 engine then correct ? i only need the rear housing the the front would be the original.

correct, the compression on S5 N/A rotors are 9.7:1, S5 turbo rotors are 8.5:1 i believe and FD rotors are 9:1
