i got a 91 N/A with a automatic transmission that went out and i got a good replacement trans for it. just acouple questions i have before i swap them out anything i should buy or have to replace when i put the other one in? should i use the torque converter off my old trans or use the one that came with the one i bought? i'm thinking i would keep the replacement trans and converter together as one. i'm just making sure i have everything i need before i start so i don't end up waiting days to get ordered parts i'd end up needing.

do you mean keep the converter that came with the replacement trans with the motor it came off of? or keep it with the trans it came from? how many quarts of oil will it take and what's a good brand to use?
