S5 MOP Test Question (Still Working)

I have S5 with an S4 motor, I swapped the front cover and I'm using my S5 MOP. The problem is I can't tell if its actually working or not. I don't have a CEL but, I'm still leary about it. I can't see oil in the lines. When I pulled appart the OEM engine the apex seals were worn down to about 1/4 of orginal size and razor sharp. The housings looked good little chrome flaking but not serious. I want to be sure my S4 motor doesn't suffer the same fate as the S5 motor. Ideas would be appreciated.

I searched and read the FSM.

maybe if there is way to prove mine is bad. If I loosen a banjo bolt and push on the full range TPS would that work? Would it cause more oil to flow?
