S5 JDM Harness to a S4?

I have read and heard 2 different things

1. When swaping a S5 motor you will need the entire S5 Chassis wiring harness

2. You can splice the S5 wires and just match it to the S4.

Please help a newbie out thanks

1. And all the electrical involved behinde the dash if you do it that way.
2. Anything is posible with a FSM and alot of time and money. Why bother?

Serch for more indepth awnsers this is coverd alot on here neerly evry day. View the FAQ stickey on the top of this page as well.

Basicly you will have to swap parts from motors to get this to work the easiest way and use a S4 harness and adapt the wireing.
