goes on the bottom of the oilfiller neck, its in a very concealed corner of the middle iron. you might have to pull the manifolds and rats nest to be able to get it back on.

It wouldn't hurt to connect it, iirc it connects on the oil filler neck, pretty ease to get to if your n/a. I wouldn't be so much worried about it leaking when sitting, but dribbling out that hole when your filling, that's what always get me.

It's just an emissions thing, you could prolly put a small filter over it and be cool.

It's not all so big of a deal except, as mentioned, on filling. It'd be nice to have it reconnected or put through a filtered source as you could suck in debris/whatever else through the purge setup. Other than that it's just a crankcase vent.

It takes 10 seconds to plug it back in. I don't see why you'd rather leave it dangling connected to nothing.

Maybe they've got short arms or fat hands? In all honesty, you should be able to reach the area without much trouble, even with the 'rats nest' bolted in, so as previous poster states, plug it back in and move on.

the reason i said "is it even worth" is because some of the previous replies said that i had to take off the intake manifold and the rats nest and on top of that i have no idea were it goes, i looked on that whole side of the engine and couldn't find anything, and on top of that i looks broken off

If that piece of metal in the end of the hose is the nipple from the oil filler neck, you can hammer it back in. It looks like it got pulled out somehow?

It's very easy to get at that area on an NA. You don't have to take anything apart at all. The nipple (and the hose) plug in at the bottom of the oil filler neck, directly in front of the dipstick. There should be a hole facing the rear of the car.

It is worth it if you want to keep the engine oil in good condition. I'm assuming this is part of the PCV system. This system removes fuel vapor, combustion gases, and water vapor out of the sump. Without it functioning gross cheese (water emulsion) builds up on the dipstick and under the oil fill cap. Also water, fuel , and combustion crap will react with the oil decreasing its ability to lubricate and causing corrosion of internal components.

Yada, yada bla bla bla.........connect the hose up where it should be
