S5 fuel rail, which one to get

i bought a KG parts fuel rail for a S6 lower intake mani and it doesn't fit my S5 lower intake mani, didn't do my research. I have ss lines with AN fittings off my FPR so the new rail needs to be compliant with what I already have, all this is on a S5 T2 engine

soooo

I wanna find one that works, what do you guys recommend as a secondary fuel rail? or if anyone has one for sale pm me plz

RX7store has a pretty baller one....

Though I believe you have to use Bosch-style injectors, as opposed to the Nippon/Denso ones (injector-seat size is different).

I've got the Extreme fuel system. It comes with:
Competition Fuel Rail
1600cc injectors x2
Fuel Pressure Regulator (Aeromotive or SARD)
Regulator Fittings x3
Fuel Injector Clips x2
Injector Resistors x2
FPR Gauge
Fuel Line
90 Degree fittings x3

They also sell JUST the rail >>> Right Here.

screw the rx7store one, they look generic and the KG legs are flimsy cheap crap they tossed together. the one i linked looks much more professional and more well worth the $ spent IMO.

yes i have installed the RRPM kit, and it is more professional than any other fuel system kits i have seen for a 7 to date, including the passthrough bulkheads for the oil filter junction which includes additional ports for oil pressure and temp free of charge. the bulkhead keeps the fuel lines from moving around on the engine which as most usually are just laid across it.

RRPM obviously cares about their product, more than some others that use 1/4" brake bent aluminum bits with screws that work loose on universal cut fuel primer rail.

I think that it depends on that bore, I was talking about...

I think the RCs are Bosch-sized, as opposed to the smaller Nip/Dens ones.

RC uses different injectors depending on their sizing, most up to about 750cc are going to be your reworked or original cleaned denso injectors, bosch are usually going to be your 850cc and up and can still fit with some modification.

more info

I was currently able to use the stock T2 fuel rails with these RC 750pri/1000sec injectors, so I assume the fit will work out.

if they fit in your stock rails then they will fit fine in either the RX7 store rails or the RRPM ones.

sorry for sounding biased, i just am. the KG rails are common for FDs only because there isn't many options available but the RRPM ones fit solidly to the FC engine with no wiggling, flexing, pushing out under boost, etc. the stock rails also can handle up to about 500whp if you cut and thread them to omit the regulator and pulsation dampener.

I'll second the Rrpm quality. I have one of his throttle elbows, and it is worth every penny. When I upgrade the rest of my fuel system, I will definitely be going with those rails as well.

I'm actually thinking about customizing my stock rail to work with the ss lines and AN fittings.

I'm unfamiliar with the pulsation dampener, is this on all T2 FC fuel rails ?

Karack:

Alas the KG rails are only FD. I've got a set on one of the FDs, and they're great... No FC love, comin' from them

Did we ever establish if the Bosch 1600s will work with the RRPM rails? RX7Store is being weird about theirs , so I'm thinking about cancelling that rail and going with the RRPM ones...

Basically use everything ELSE from the RX7S kit, but the rails from RRPM.
