I went in and talked to the guy that runs the place and hes going to let me take some parts off of it. Apparently when the car came in (90 GXL) it was fine, but the damn machine that lifts up the cars pretty much took out passenger side door and a lot of passenger side interior. The front and rear of the car is still good. I already have a list of stuff im going to get, just wondering if you guys could think of anything else.

Tail lights
rear bumper
hatch shocks
steering wheel shroud
steering whell
shift ****
door handles
head light covers and motors
front bumper

Pull the motor and practice porting on it!

 

the tail lights!!! if they are not cracked of course

Yeah the tail lights are in EXCELLENT condition thats the main reason why i want it and i am paying $100 to get at it.

 

In case you don't know... and in case you really don't need them... those s5 tail lights have been selling for well over $200 on ebay.

I'd also pull:

a) All of the interior trim you can manage
b) Power antenna and motor (looks like it might be broke if it's stuck in the up position)
c) Spoiler if it's not bent
d) Headlight/Wiper Switches
e) Warning Lights
f) Pull the motor if you want to tinker and experiment
g) Any aftermarket stuff under the hood (CAI, exhaust, etc)
h) ECU
i) Anything you particularly need for your own car : )

You can sell most of this stuff on here or ebay or just keep it for yourself... good find! I'd maul this thing. haha

if I see the pic right it has a 5 lug so it should have the four piston callipers....take them

 

i'd strip the **** outta that thing, just take everything

 

from what I can see by looking into the hatch, the carpet looks fairly decent! You can get some $$ for decent black carpet!

man thats just f*ck'n sad . My first fc was a 1990 gxl that looked exactly like that . I was young and destroyed the car and it was sent off to the boneyard . seeing that makes me feel guilty for hacking up my fc . Oh well i got a 88 t2 now !

Id like to swap to S5 rear lights and add a spoiler to my 86 so Im gona look at a local yard this weekend.

Sucks for me because its snowing now but hey gota do what ya gota do for parts..lol.

I bought a complete convertable camaro from a yard befor for parts. I ended up selling the leather Int. for what i paid for the complete car.

Im very sorry to say that the wing has some damage that wasnt there earlier. When i got it reserved they decided to move it and in that process it aquired some damage. Im still going to take it, but ill have pics of it.

Yank the antenna for me and I'll buy it off of you, my motor works but I have no antenna...

 

Im starting at 7am tommorow and then later on ill post pics up of what i got off of it. Thanks everyone for the ideas of stuff.. some of those things i didnt even think about. and anyone that posted that wanted something, i will take you into consideration first when im selling the stuff
