Yo,

I'll try and borrow a digital camera to take pics of the install. It should be relatively easy, just take off all the 10mm (?) bolts on the bottom of the stock lip.

Should be neat!

the "3-piece" front lip is made for the S5, but the lip is about 1/2" thick and follows the same lines of the front bumper. It's almost like a small trim, and just takes scrapes as opposed to your actual bumper. The "1-piece" front lip is the desirable one, it is about 1" thick and sticks out from the front bumper. It is the one that comes painted the same color as your car. It's expensive as hell (about $290 new and painted) but very nice. I have one of these for my 90 vert as well as the 4-piece S5 side skirts.

Thanks driftfc3s, that definately seems to be the consensus.

The next question I might propose is the possiblity of a copy of the factory splitter by a third party that comes unpainted and at a reduced price. Anyone heard of such a thing?

Sup,
I have an 86' gxl and was wondering, what an 87' from bumber kit looks like? Here is a pic of what I would like to buy, but it says that its only for 87+.

www.enjukuracing.com

Type of part: Body
Part Name: GP Sports G Four Body Kit Mazda RX-7 87-92
Description: GP Sports G Four Body Kit Mazda RX-7 87-92. Full Kit includes Front Bumper, Side skirts, Rear Bumper.
Individual Prices:
FB - $700
SS - $575
RB - $615
Please call to order individual parts.
Car Type: Mazda RX-7 87-92
Part Number: RX7G4
Price Each: 1889.99

Yeah, just a lil expensive! But The only thing is, why cant it fit on my 86? My 86's bumber ends where the turn signal lense begans. Does that mean the 87's bumber continues to the wheel wall? Cause this one does, the design proves it.

Plus if I did buy it, could I just highly modify mine to where it would extend to the wheel wall?

thanks,
still

86, 87, and 88 are all the exact same body pieces unless i'm mistaken. its always categorized 86-88, 89-91, for everything. i dont think body pieces are an exception
