The dash is off a vert and its going in a s4 coupe. Just wanted to make sure its gonna fit before i purchase!

Any problems with the harnesses?

in the USA the dash is the same part number. however most of the stuff that goes into the dash is different.

 

harnesses are different, especially the harness that contains the logicon wiring.

 

hmm ok...So Do i just need the inside chassis harness? as an s4? and logicon meaning idiot clusteR?

 

Logicon is the A/C-heater control.

 

ahhh thanks satch. So how much of the harness do i need to replace. The whole jalopy up to the firewall? or just the part that hooks up to the dash?

 

So Vert dashes= same as coupe dashes

Just need to figure out the harnes stuff and im golden..Plan to purchase this within next couple days, any info is appreciated!

 

Damn, I meant to say idiot light cluster, not logicon. Ignore my last post!

 

remove your dash, removes your harness from old dash, install into new dash...

 

use your s4 idiot cluster. the surround wont fit so you'll have to either remove the clear plastic or flip it upside down. when you flip it you have to drill a new hole for the clock reset or if the clock is broke then cut the rod.

 

Oh sorry i forgot to mention. I dont have my old dash i sold EVERYTHING that was red this is why im asking now, I dont have the old to compare to
