The question is... can it be done? all I see as a problem would be drilling out a hole for the trunk pop. The wiring isn't different is it??? I know I'll have to do some shaving too but damn that would be sweet. BTW did I mention I am getting these for free?

 

Most of the S4 guys have it done. I know when I got my car it had them already on so i dont really know the difference in anything and on how to do it. Some of the S5 guys are mad at us S4 guys with them cause it makes them more expensive for them. Lol. I personally like both tail lights but the S5 more and since I already have them why take them off?

 

NO!!!!!!! those tail lights from the S5 coupe will NOT fit the S4 vert. No coupe tails can fit the vert rear and no vert tails can fit the coupe rear. You MUST fine vert tails for vert and coupe for coupe.

 

If you are getting them for free, grab one and check it out. You don't need to do any shaving. I did grab a s5 center part (license plate box) whhen i did my conversion. but I heard you don't need it if you wich to moffy your old one.

The S5 coupe tail light will fit the vert just not perfectly since the coupe light is a little smaller than the vert. I know this because I have S4 coupe tail lights on my S5 vert, long story. You will not need the vert center peice since the coupe lights are longer than the vert and will not fit.

 

the lights will fit...some cutting will be needed--but minor...u also loss the lock for the trunk(but at least you have the pul cable in the cabin-install a auto pop lock).
