S5 coupe... gas tank profile

I am fixing up my 1991 coupe, and have come across a big problem. My gas tank is all rusted out with pinholes in the top, and the fuel pump does not work in it. Rather than cleaning it and getting a new pump, I thought about dropping it down and replacing the whole thing.

Here's my question - I already have a camaro LS1 plastic gas tank in my garage with a walbro fuel pump in it that I got in a trade. Instead of hunting down an old rusty metal tank from one of the 3 fc's that i might find in a junkyard, I'd like to fit this LS1 gas tank in because not only will it support the power I will be making, but it is plastic, has a built in regulator, 3/8" fuel ports already, and is off of a 2002 that was almost new (meaning the tank looks brand new).

The LS1 tank I have is perfectly flat on the top. As long as the stock S5 gas tank is flat on the top also (and not contoured too bad), this one should be easy to install. Does anyone have any pictures of the top profile of the stock S5 gas tank?

I think it's very unlikely you'll fit a camaro fuel tank in though, drop it out and measure it, it's the only way to find out.

I would love to drop it out and check, but there is about 2" of solid ice on the ground covered up by snow at the moment.
Anyone else had a S5 gas tank out?
