S5 computer differences
I have a friend with an S5 TII, and we were talking about intake and such, and he told me that his filter was directly on his turbo. I have an S4, and I was wondering if it was possible to change the computers between the two without a big hassle.

The only way that can be right is if he has a standalone ecu (expensive) or if his afm was relocated to be part of the intercooler piping (after turbo).

Yep, if he still has the stock ECU then the AFM's still there somewhere.
BTW, you should tell your friend that's about the worst place to put the air filter. It'll be sucking in nothing but hot air that's just passed through the radiator. A proper cold air intake is cheap horsepower and raises the threshold at which detonation occurs.

The later TII computers expect a higher compression ratio.
