S5 component conversion

Before I attempt to start up my brother-in-laws Frankenstien T2 I want to make sure I have it all straight

Here is what is done:

S5 J-spec block into s4 car
S4 Engine harness
S5 injectors spliced in
S4 Low imp. injector rewire to high imp s5
S5 Alternator spliced to s4 harness
S4 TB swapped in for the single stage TPS

So main Q's..

I wired in the injectors, soldiered them and then heat shrink.... Then Taped.
Does it matter which wires I spliced to what? Meaning when I went from low imp s4 to high s5 there was no way to match up the wires so i just stayed consistant and wired them all the same. but I don't know if I did it right.... Also any ideas where the "engine failure" box goes????? I can't seem to find the plug for it...

BTW- I know that one of the wires is fed via ECU and the ECU sends pulses to the injectors, I just wonder if it matters which one pulses.

Off topic, but are you looking to convert to S5 exterior, also?

Injectors are not polarity sensitive. Simple coil which only needs a power and ground. The ECU turns ground on and off.

It matters for the primary injectors, as they're fired sequentially below 3800rpm when the secondaries aren't firing. It doesn't matter for the secondaries, as above 3800rpm all four injectors are fired at the same time. Connecting them up shouldn't have been a problem anyway, as S4 and S5 injector wiring use the same colours.
