s5 bumper, s5 lip, s4 body/fenders
I did an s5 bumper conversion a long time ago, and as many people know the bumper doesn't line up perfectly in a couple places. I plan on fixing this with some body work once I'm ready for paint, but for not it's not even noticeable at all.
The front bumper I got never had the stock black lip that they come with, and I always thought it looked better with it. I was always wondering, though, if it would actually fit properly with the stock s4 fenders since everything doesn't like up the way s5 fenders would. I've wanted a stock s5 TII lip replica for a long time but didn't want to waste the money and find out it didn't fit at all.
Recently, though, I acquired a 90 FC with complete black interior, running motor but burns oil, covered in mold, but otherwise pretty good for FREE I took the stock lip off of that bumper and decided to slap it on my GXL to see how the fitment was and to use it until I was ready to buy a s5 TII replica lip, if it fit.
Well, it fit! I'm very happy and thought I'd share this for anyone else wondering how the fitment would be. Everything fit pretty well surprisingly and I only had to add 1 hole and this was on the inside of the fender to hold the last piece of the lip that wraps up inside of it. Otherwise I was able to make everything else work.
