s5 bumper on s4

Whats the deal with it? Do they fit? Do the body lines match up or is it slightly different? Does the thicker molding make it not fit?

Haha somebody help

From what I know, it fits fine, but slight differences in the fenders and molding make it look a little "off".

Well what does anyone think i should do i have an 86 base model and my bumper is kinda shitty cause i cut it out because i have a big front mount i have a turbo 2 hood with s5 lights and mirrors so i was thinking about getting the s5 bumper. Id be down for a body kit if everyone i saw wasnt so horrible. Somebody post up some ideas of what i should do or if they know of any body kits that arent outrageously expensive. Thanks

Don't do the body kit...
The bumper will fit. If I recall correctly, the only difference between the 2 were some nominal displacements of the fasteners and you'll only notice while installing it. Change out your "shitty" fender!

it bolts right on, fenders are not different- I dont know where that rumor comes from

I have swapped both ways, meaning had s5 bumper on a s4 car and even a s4 bumper on a s5 car
A s4 bumper has a thin rubber "gasket", that might be where the confusion lies

obviously the molding is different
