S5 boost sens & ecu ground

yes I have spent the last 1hr looking thru all the old post but some of the pics are hard to see. I did the ground thing on my S4 but now I have an S5.

I have 2 wires coming out of my BAC that look like brown with black stripe.

also, what color is the ECU ground wire going to be? Balck?

Grab vour VOM, & turn the ignition on.
One side should have 12v from the main relay.
The other side is the ground to the ECU.
This works for all the engine solenoids.

I am looking at this pic for the ECU wire harness. I thought I read somewhere that the view of of the pis is the harness plugged in still. deos that mean that the ground is somewhere on the left hand side of the plug if it is still plugged into the ECU.

left hand side , upper row of pins???? yes....??

VOM = Volt/Ohm/Milliammeter
I thought you looking at the BAC.

At the ECU - position 3Q

In the FSM it's on page F2-77 (turbo fuel & emmissions section)

Boost sensor ground problem was FIXED in mid-year 1987.
If you own a 1988 or later FC3S, the boost sensor ground fix will not do anything for you.
