s5 bare block swap with s4 manifolds?????

i got an S4 vehicle bout to swap in the S5. S5 is complete with uncut wiring harness but missing the ecu. i was thinking bout using the current S4 manifolds and its ecu and bolting it up to the lower mileage s5 bare block then dropping it in....what u guys think? or should i just look for the s5 ecu and make it official. i wanted to use s4 manifolds since i changed the PD and fuel hoses and injector seals also sticking to the s4 trans since the mounts are new. it would only be like a s5 bare block being swapped. by the way it is n/a

Unless you premix, you will need to swap over the front cover to the s4 front cover. The s5 uses an electric OMP that only works with the s5 ECU and wiring. But to do that you have to also use the s5 CPU and body harnesses or so a shitload of re-wiring. It is much easier to just swap the front cover. There are directions in the tech section of www.rotaryresurrection.com
