S5 Ball joint question

I searched around for a while and everything I could find was about ball joints on S4's....
Everything I read says that in order to get new ball joints on a S5 you must buy the whole arm. Has anyone successfully changed them without spending almost $1000 on a new pair of arms?
If its not possible my second question would be, will S4 control arms bolt up to the S5 suspension so I can replace the ball joints?
Thanks!
Sean

You will need the S4 sway bar end links as well.

Ok, so it seems like the consensus is that there isn't a way to change the ball joints on a S5 control arm...
I planned on getting a aftermarket sway bar anyway, so I'll just make sure to buy one for a S4 and pick up some S4 arms. The price for new S5 arms is outrageous.
Thanks for the responses guys.

$1000 no way even genuine Mazda parts would cost that much

I exaggerated a bit, its $800 for the pair on Mazdatrix: http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.as...m=34-3500-FC02
Still way too much for a set of control arms, aluminum or not....
