S5 Aux ports on S4

For my S5 Upper Intake Manifold swap, I was thinking of using the S5 aux ports and use an S5 airpump to power the VDI and Aux ports. Is it possible to use the S5 airpump and aux ports on the S4 block?

I assume you are swapping the entire s5 intake manifold? You have to use the s5 LIM to use the s5 actuators.
As for using the air pump, its can be done with a little work. I'm pretty sure there are writeups, but here is what I remember:
Basically, in the s5, there is a solenoid that sends the air from the air pump to the actuators. In stock form this is operated by the ECU. What you will have to do is get that solenoid and operate it with an RPM switch.

An RPM switch? Is that easy to do or is it something I have to add to the car?
