HI i was wandering if anyone has wired the ports open so they could remove the smog pump if so is there any gain in power on the top end and how much power did you loose on the low end also what is your MPG and is this a good idea or not thanks.

 

Your low end becomes shittier than it already is. Either get an electric pump to open them up with an RPM switch or use a good exhaust with a back pressure tube.


And there is no gain in the upper range unless they were stuck closed, in which case they should be fixed as that conparison is invalid.
