S4 vs S5 wire harness
Hey guys, I have searched your archives and I can't seam to find anything on wire harness' that can help me out. My problem is that I bought a 13B turbo S5 motor, trans, and ecu that I am going to fit into my FB; however, I can't seam to find a good used turbo S5 wire harness. I just wanted to know if I can use an S4 turbo wire harness or can it somehow be modified to fit the S5. Any relavent information would be appreciated.

you can't find a used harness because s5 turbos are uber rare.
First of all the ECU plugs are different, so you'd have to source the plug, the TPS is different on an s4, the injector impedence is different (depending on the build date of the car), you've got the electronic OMP on the s5 and the list goes on and on. You would have to mangle an s4 harness to make it work on an s5 ecu and motor. There are so many places it could go wrong...
Maybe you should get a microtech (but then you have to premix b/c you can't control the OMP) and use a new harness. Or you should just throw down on a brand new OEM s5 wiring harness. I think they are around $800 from mazdatrix when I called them.
