S4 vs S5 driveshaft length

are the S4 and S5 driveshafts interchangable? are they the same length and everything?

Really old topic, I know. I'd rather bump this one than start a new thread.


I would like to know this as well. I have an '88 NA and need a new driveshaft because the u-joint is shot. I have a friend with a parts car and would like to use the driveshaft from it. Just need to know if it will fit.

They are the same as long as they will be used for the same model/equip:
1-N/A Manual
2-N/A Automatic
3-Turbo
