S4 vs S5 driveshaft length

are the S4 and S5 driveshafts interchangable? are they the same length and everything?

Really old topic, I know. I'd rather bump this one than start a new thread.

I would like to know this as well. I have an '88 NA and need a new driveshaft because the u-joint is shot. I have a friend with a parts car and would like to use the driveshaft from it. Just need to know if it will fit.
