S4 vert Won't run for more than 5 seconds

Car starts up fine every time. Shuts off after 5 seconds, even if the throttle is mashed to the floor.

Things I just finished checking:
bac valve is clean
Maf is clean
No vacuum leaks
all 6 fuses under the hood are good
air pressure sensor is good and connected

I can't seem to figure it out. Only other searches I've found are threads for FDs with the same problem as me, and other people with FCs have their cars run for 5-10 minutes before shut off. I can't even get the car to warm up.

Quick note, this is not my car. I do not currently have access to it, but I will later tonight. I have a video of the problem occurring that I will try to post when I get home.

your MAF sensor may be clean, but it may not be sending the signal to the ECU to keep the fuel pump running

Jumper the fuel check connector and see if it stays running, if it does, that tells you the ECU is not receiving signal from the MAF

If I bring another S4 N/A MAF that I know for a fact is working perfectly would that be a good test to see if it is indeed the MAF that is the problem?

You could do that or you could jumper the fuel check connector as suggested which would take but a minute to do if that.

Jumping the connector is not a good permanent fix though from what I've read. I'd rather just bring my good working MAF to test it since my own RX7 just sits most of the time. In case it's not the MAF, what else haven't I checked? This problem has been a plague for about a week now.

I didn't suggest the jumper as a permanent fix, only a test

If the MAF doesn't fix it, it could be the fuel pump relay itself

It was the MAF. Put the working MAF in from my cat and it worked like a charm. Good call on that one. Thanks again for the help.
