So ive searched and was unable to find exactly what i wanted, so i figured id ask for help.. Im working on a t2 swap into my vert and was wondering about the motor mounts, i figured, although my wallet doesnt agree with it, that im gonna put new motor mounts in with the engine. I was wondering if i need anything special for the vert as for the mount brackets? thganks for any of the help guys..

 

You would need to use vert engine mounts

 

really? When i put the TII engine in mine, it went in without complaint on generic stiff mounts, not 'vert specific

does anyone know what the difference is between vert and coupe engine mounts?

 

vert ones are stiffer and slightly larger

 

why is that? is the subframe the same?
