2nd gen diecast model re-paint

So you've probibly all seen the fc 1:24 scale metal models by jada toys... really riced out. well i decided to repaint mine, all one colour. only problem is, i can't really decide on a color. anyone got any suggestions? i'm considering the brown color of my 1st gen, in one of the attached pics, but i know that was definitly not an fc color. anyway, hope no one gets mad about posting this, since it doesnt have much to do with the real rx7's, lol. ill post pictures of it down the road once im finished with it. by the way, for anyone interested in redoing one, i stripped off all the paint with brake fluid. bought a gallon of the stuff for 12 bucks, let it all soak in a coffee can over night, then hit it with a pressure washer, and it peeled the paint right off. thanks

good to know im not the only one collecting the crap outta those 1:24 FCs. The only ones you can get are the white initial d one, and the ricey blue one, i have 9 or 10 of them. the wheels are interchangeable with any other jada 1:24 car (even the ones with 22's, but i dont know why you would want that) i have one painted exactly like my 87 (chevy red orange-ish color, black wing) with gunmetal 7 spokes (r.i.p.), and one painted like my 88 (black with 03 cobra's).

also have a ton of other cars, like FDs, 240s, 300zxs, etc.

pretty cool toy line if you ask me.
