does the s4 tranny fit in an S5?? i just got my 90 GXL and i think the tranny is dead, was making chattering noises and made it hard to accelerate, the engine rev's freely in neutral so its not the engine.

if it is possible for the S4 tranny to go into the S5, is there anything special i have to do to put it in?? i have an S4 tranny with 95k miles so i can put it in if it will work

 

yes it will work...your 5th gear is taller though

you need the crossmember off of the series4 trans.
