s4 tps crimped wires

Would it be bad to crimp tps wires? Would that effect the readings?

The long story

So my car was running like crap. I couldnt figure it out. It ran fine before I dissembled it. I was running really lean. I had my friend come by with his laptop and help me retuned my megasquirt ecu. We only did idle freerevs. My car is not registered to do street tuning right now. After I found out my car was running like crap because of wires off my tps were broken, at the sensor. I guess my friend coming over to help me just threw off my origional tune So I got a tps from a junkyard, and the plug connector was corroded. So I used my origional connector, but crimped the wires together. Now my car is running super duper rich. I'm just wondering if crimping those wires will throw off the resistance readings

shouldn't make any measurable difference if the crimping is done well...

just to be safe youd be better off soldering them. like calpatriot said it should be fine but its a lot better to solder them.
