SD S4 TII swap, not getting any spark....help?

hey so a buddy of mine and i just recently did an S4 TII swap to the car, and the turns over and we primed it and everything then found out that we werent getting any spark. so we tested the resistance of the coils and tried to find out if the coils were getting any power and they were only getting about 1 volt on both the leading and trailing coils. anyone have any idea why this is happening? we have 4 engine grounds and we have both coils ground. the ecu worked for the last S4 TII that we had swapped into the car so we arent thinking that its the ECU. if anyone has any idea what it could be please let us know. any information is useful i appretiate it.

EDIT:

When you checked the leading coil for voltage did you check the Black/Yellow wire for battery voltage with the key to on? When you turn the key to "on" does your main relay click. The main relay is responsible for providing power to the coils. To prove that the relay is operating properly, besides the clicking sound, you can check for voltage on the Black/White wire and Black/Yellow wire coming from the main relay and these wires are located underneath the relay as part of a 4 wire plug. This is to be done with the key to "on." Also, check the 15 amp "engine fuse" in the interior fuse box for it powers the main relay.

we checked all the engine fuses as well, and the interior fuse panel, havent checked the relay yet but will do so and keep ya updated as to if it worked. but other than that we have checked pretty much everything. i appretiate your input thank you

One of the quickest ways to test the main relay would be to check for voltage on any of the Black/White wires that are connected to the emissions solenoids in the rats nest. Each solenoid in the nest has two wires with one of them being B/W and this wire will have battery voltage when the key is turned to "on.". And then the two B/Y wires to the trailing coil will have battery voltage as well in addition to the B/Y connected to the leading coil via a white plug (key to "on"). If these wires have voltage w/key to on, then the relay is working properly.
