s4 TII piece pic exchange

I'll trade my picture of the hot side of an s4 turbo for your picture of everything that bolts to it.

Another way to say this is, does anyone have or can take a picture of what bolts next to or between this and the downpipe?

Got it, so it's just a flat plate on both sides then? The turbo I bought didn't apparently come with that piece. But that's okay, this whole thing's been full of surprises.

Thanks for the help!

Yeah, its just the backplate. You also have a stud missing for the downpipe..
If you keep the turbo, im sure you could get that stuff off the FS section, if not seperately, buy a blown s4 turbo and take that stuff off of it.

no problem

Apparently I already bought a blown s4 turbo I got the stud located, but I'm trying to source a new intake wheel or CHRA in another window as we speak. :P

Don't bother with the S4 turbo. Get an S5 unit, and bore out the wastegate a bit, theres a guide somewhere on here bout it.

try to spring for the least used example for the longest life.

That'd be great if I had another $200-400 for another used turbo, an s5 manifold, and all the coolant and oil lines that go to it. Unless you're offering a free one for my cause?
