S4 TII MAF question?

I have a question about the TIIs. Since we are MAF sensor and not MAP like the FDs, does that mean we can increase flow mods and not worry so much about running lean? also does anyone else's car stall out when you Vent the BOV? Cuz as soon as i vent it, it stalls, but once i cap it or put it back, its fine.
I'm hopeing that this could explain my boost problems, but i doubt it.
Thanks BJ

we have Air Flow Meter. MAFs are a little different. comparing AFM and MAP, the AFM affects engine performance in more negative ways if there are any intake air leaks, which are common on our cars. if you increase airflow you need to worry about running lean regardless if what control system you have.

about your BOV, keep it hooked up like stock if it is the stock one. it will leak air if you vent to atmosphere. tried it on my car and it leaked boost, and probably would have leaked vauum but I put an extra one way plumbing valve on other end. that setup sucked. keep it hooked up like stock
