s4 TII into FB Need Opinions

Hey guys I've been doing a ton of research and im just looking for some opinions.

Im doing a TII swap into an 85 GSL..S4 TII motor, huge streetported irons (centre iron ported to match front and rear), s5 hybrid turbo (t04b coldside and ht18 hot).
Gonna port match intake manifolds etc. Now I was told the irons are good for 350hp, and the turbo should be good for that too. I was figuring I should probably run 3 inch exhaust. Now what injectors should I run? I was thinking stock primaries and 720cc secondaries..or I have a set of GSL SE injectors I forget what they flow though..

Now I was also told I'm gonna have to go with a standalone due to my irons..I've been researching and what Ive come down to Is I want either an Apexi Power FC with FC Datalogit and Banzai FD to s4 TII adapter. The reason I wanna go with Power FC is so I don't have to rewire the car.

I also read a **** load of reviews and what not on Haltech. I looked on the site and the Platinum Sprint RE seems like a good choice and its reasonably priced.

I've also read that the E6x is great, but outdated..so what about the E8?

And I've looked into Megasquirt for them being so cheap, but I'm definitely too lazy to solder every single component to the circuit boards..I could just buy one complete but I've been told they're a bit difficult to work with.

Looking for recommendations of what to run based on my setup. Right now Im thinking PFC. And probably 550cc and 720cc injectors.

I do like my Megasquirt, as it seems to have a ton more options available than most other standalone ECUs. However, it does require you to completely re-wire the engine harness. That's actually the preferred method though, since the old FC harness is 25 years old and not weather proof at all. It does also require some hardware modification if you're going to buy it pre-built. The modifications don't really take very long though. Not a whole lot of people use MS ECUs for their cars though, so you probably won't get a lot of votes for it.

And I'd run at least 720/720 injectors for a large streetport w/ hybrid turbo. That might not even be enough still.

I was thinking PFC due to the ease of installation. Do you think an Rtek can handle my setup and bigger injectors? I know guys are using them for similar setups.

In my opinion, Rtek is crap. It's so limited to what you can do, and it still costs more than megasquirt. You also keep the stock wiring, which to me is a huge negative. I don't know anything about the Apex'i PFC, but from what I get it doesn't have a whole lot of features either. And then there's still the negative of keeping the original wiring harness.

This is all my opinion, but that is what you were looking for.

Yessir I understand. Yeah PFC retains the stock wiring too. So I guess I should go with Haltech or Megasquirt. Cause we all know the problems associated with FC wiring. And I've got even older wiring for the FB portion that runs my ignition and what not.

Thanks for your help AGreen. The only reason I would even get an Rtek is my buddy is getting a standalone and would sell me his cheap.

Haltechs are good, and you can get an E6k/x for pretty cheap. However, it's old and dated and once again, limited in features. Not nearly as limited as the Rtek or a piggyback, but the more expensive models of haltechs have the same features as Megasquirt. But you don't have to solder

I was thinking Haltech E8 or Platinum Sprint RE. I havent decided though, still doing research.

I kinda wanna do Megasquirt because its cheaper, but really I just want the simplest to deal with and one I can learn to tune myself.
