S4 TII Harness help!
S4 TII Harness help!
I'm ridiculously close to getting this thing cranked and there are a few plugs hanging around on the harness, and I have no clue where they go. I have had a full emissions removal done on the engine when it was rebuilt, and the Haynes manual showed that the multicolored plugs on the driver side were emissions related, so I supposed they don't go anywhere.
I've also got an aftermarket downpipe with some sort of pyrometer on it, and I have no clue if it's factory or not. It also has no where to plug into, and has a single blade inside of a green plug. If someone could just identify what plug goes into what real quick for me, that'd be great.

On the pics most look like they are not going to be used based on your setup.
The first pic I believe is a plug that plugs into your A/C compressor.
The second pic 1 connector is the BAC valve and the other 2 won't be used since you removed your emissions.
The third pic isn't stock but it might be for an EGT gauge or a wideband possibly.
The fourth pic goes to your cruise control and the motor that goes onto the side of the bottle in the pic. So if the cruise control is removed then you won't need it either.

Picture two looks like the BAC's plug.
Picture three looks like a aftermarket 02 bung has been welded on the aftermarket manifold, and an oxygen sensor installed in it. Whether wideband or narrow band, I know not.
EDIT: IF it has a single wire, then it's a narrow band 02 sensor just like the stock one. Connect it up. Then again, if you've looked and decided it's a pyrometer sensor, then that's what it is and no one can tell you what aftermarket unit it should go to. But most EGT sensors have two wires . They're usually *K* type probes and one wire is alumel and the other cromel. Dissimilar wires makum electrical output to a gauge to show EGT changes.
In the last picture.....remove the Sub Zero tank. It is useless. Was meant for subzero weather starting conditions that you'll never see, plus it was ineffectual.
One of the plugs near it is most likely the cruise control units plug.
