Arrow S4 TII engine, S4 n/a harness... fuel injector plugs.

So, I read this thread about the proper injector clips to the proper injectors for the S4 n/a and turbo models. If all is true in these statements...

Fuel injector connector help!

RotaryRocket88:
On a non-turbo emissions harness, the 2 primary injector plugs are grouped together & the 2 secondary plugs are grouped. On a turbo emissions harness, the plugs are grouped by rotor as they come off of the harness. It has nothing to do with the injector locations; they are obviously still going to be on proper rail (primaries w/ primary & secondaries w/ secondary). It wouldn't matter if they're stock injectors anyway, as they're all the same size. You just need to be sure you plugged them in the right way. Check wire colors in the FSM wiring diagrams.

What do I do if I have a S4 TII engine, with a S4 n/a harness? Should I connect them as if the set-up is all n/a or TII? (I have upgraded injectors.)

This may be my problem...

why would you use an n/a harness in a T2? better question is how did yuo rewire the whole damn thing? even i would never bother doing that.

When I first looked into the swap... I was told by quite a few that you're able to use the n/a harness. It's possible to make it work.

well, you will have to swap the wires around in the plugs to match the T2 ECU pinouts, the injector plugs will all be the same.

you still have to match the pins on the ECU between the n/a and T2, unless you had them custom make you one that is meant for the swap. better yet you should list off what you plan to keep working on the engine or say if it is going to be bare essentials(injectors, thermosensor, TPS, CAS, etc)

it's painfully obvious to tell which wires go to which set of injectors using the n/a harness. the two longer are secondaries. you'll be fine.

hey is there a difference between front and rear rotor injector clips? or do they inject at the same time regardless? I know I have the primaries and secondaries hooked up right but the front and rear order idk? my car is running like **** at light load and low rpm, but going fast is no problemo.

thanks (sorry to slightly threadjack)

injector clips should be the same if the harness has not been altered
