S4 TII engine idle

Hi guys, a little background first. I rebuilt the engine about a year ago and removed all emissions. I have larger injectors (750/1000), BNR stage 2, stock intercooler, and Rteck 2.1. I just started tuning, so it's not perfect but the car runs ok. I think that's all the important stuff, if not let me know.

So, when I start the car the engine dies. I thought it was a vacuum leak so I checked and found no issues (all new hosing). I also checked timing and that is fine also.

I found that if I hold the RPMs manually until the O2 sensor heats up the car will idle. Anyone have any ideas on what the issue may be? Could it be tuning?

I would say yes. Sounds too rich on the warm up.

Crap..I had this happen too..a long time ago when I had a 2.0
something about the start up map and the duration in ms..fuel delivery and temp plays into this too.
Post in the RTEK section and they can help more with this.

Great. I will try lowering the fuel at start up and see what happens. I'll let you guys know what happens. I'll browse the RTEK section also. Thanks!

Great advice guys, solved the issue. I actually had to add more time to the fuel at start up. Thanks!
