S4 throttle body on S5
Hi guys, after loosing 2 OMPs and 3 ECUs I've decided go to the S4 manual OMP and swap the S5 T2 throttle body for an S4 T2 throttle body.
I have both throttle bodies but I can't get the S5 TPS to align with the S4 throttle body. I've tried several different configurations but so far nothing looks like it will function properly.
If anybody is familiar with this set up I would appreciate some input.
thanks, Ashley

Not pertinent to your problem, but maybe something you didn't think of (or maybe you have a solution). S5 ECU will go into "limp mode" if the OMP is not functional. This means that you can't just put on an S4 ecu without leaving an S5 OMP plugged in, or you'll need a standalone ecu.

Only if you run an RTEK can you not use the OMP.(then you can check it off in the rtek)
...Other wise you have to hang the OMP off to the side,Still hooked in electronically so the ECU can see it.Then PREMIX.
Also the s4 TB will not support the dual TPS setup,.as the s4 uses just one TPS.

Sorry guys, I logged in under my Dads account. Didn't mean to confuse anybody.
But my 7 does have the Rtek 1.7. I remember reading a post about somebody swapping the throttle bodies, but I can't find it now, to see if they mentioned how they did it.

Take the two tbs and swap the tps sliders on the top butterflys. U can align the tps but you can only use one bolt to hold the tps bracket on. I think it was the bottom hole on the bracket to the bottom hole on the tb, the top wont line up. I used my s4 tb with s5 tps and sliders with no fault for months.
