well i picked up a s4 shifter off of a member here and i wanted to replace my old short shifter that came with the car because it is very notchy , so i got it out (the old one ) and i noticed it had a spacer because it had a longer ball on the end of it , so im like no biggy and i take it out and put the new one in the way it came from the guy , i noticed it touches slightly at the bottom but i cant shift gears. I put it in line with the notch on the transmission/shifter and still nothing , i know the spacer shouldnt be used with the stock one since the stock one is shorter , so if i could get any help or a picture to see what im missing
