Are there any differences in a series 5 TPS against a series 4 ? N/A engines are what im talking about. Also any way to tell by serial numbers if you got a s5 or s4 engine, or any visual cues as to wether or not it has 6-ports?

 

ok all second gens have 5th and 6th ports. I believe the intakes are a little bit different as the AFM's are also different. The S4 cars only have one TPS while the S5 cars have two a coarse and a fine.

 

Thanks a bunch you confirmed that I have a s5 engine in the s5 car. Previous owner swaped engines and didnt know what he was doing, lift chain still on the engine and numerous items not connected/ bolted down. I just wanted to make sure it was a s5 engine in there. Thanks.
