S4 and S5 T2 syncro rings, are they the same?

I have my S4 T2 trans taken all apart because it didn't shift into 2nd gear as well as it used to (just takes a little more effort and some times would grind). When I measured the space between the syncro and the gear it's well within spec but I'm going off a manual for a S5 T2.

I have another question, would you think running mobil 1 gear lube would make this situation worse since it's a more "slippery" lube? Maybe I should have switched to conventional 80w-90 before taking the transmission apart?

If anyone has experience with this I would greatly appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks
