do suspension......I always thing the exterior appearance should be last.....i like an old car that looks ok but can handle and run incredible....

which rims are on there now? The RacingBeat springs drops the car a lil more...

go for the suspension. because since i see that u live in canada, ur body kit is either gonna fall off or crack because of the snow. also winter salt cracks paint.

i think kitted cars w/ stock wheels look awful.

get the rims/tires/shocks.

ive youve never had them, good tires will feel incredible for your handling.

Do suspension, rims, and tires fo sho.

Body kits don't help your handling or anything like that. Plus like stated earlier, should be the last mod.

errr body kit, just kidding. In my opinion I'd always do performance mods first, instead of exterior mods.

Priorities:
1. Stick the car to the ground.

Go for the suspension first. Racing Beat does some great springs. They have a killer kit for just under $500. Springs, Front and Rear bars.

If the car is used primarily on the street, look for Eibach Pro-kit springs. They will drop the car about 3/4 inch (RB are about 1-1/25 drop). Eibach are progressive rate. They keep a decent ride but firm up nicely at the track.

Shocks: I love my Tokicko Illuma shocks. 5 way adjustable very easy. Rears are a pain because you have to pull the speaker cans out of the rear towers to adjust. I keep a couple screwdrivers handy and have the drill down to less than a minute per side.

Rims. There are a lot of good rims out there. Keep a decent set of factory rims. The 5 bolt ones from the 89-90 GTU are decent looking and light. Get a nice set for street to match looks with the lowered car.

2. If you're going to add power, make sure the chassis can use it. See Priority 1

3. Body kit. Now that you've answered the question, "Where's the Beef?" you can start on a nice looking bun.

The suspension mods should be under $1500 US. The other mods (power and body kit) can burn through money like a wildfire. Save those for when you're rich and not yet famous.

I would get a body kit since it adds about 40 hp, and lots and LOTS of vinyl decals. Not to mention neon underglow kit!

i agree with foild i dont even take a glance or think of getting diff pads then Hawk or if your rich enough get a Bremo Big Break kit and yes suspenion is the way to go... Get KYB AGX Adjustable shocks 4 way front and 8 way back so you dont have to take out speakers to adjust and just adjust under the car, eibach springs, anti roll bars, strut bars front and back, and a set of good sticky tires (Goodyear Eagle F-1) is a good decision... and race those cars with bodykits on highways and **** on them around the turns
