S4-S5 sunroof...

The damn gears in my TII sunroof are broke so i have no sunroof. I got an S5 GTU sunroof assembly and was wondering if it is a direct replacement or do i have to rewire (<----Grrrrrr)

Thanks
Troy

PS: any ideas on what to lube the sunroof tracks with? Astroglide?

Lube 'em with silicone spray. As for whether or not it's a direct replacement, I have no idea, but honestly, it probably is... The wiring couldn't really be made "more effective" by changing it, and even if it was changed, it would be pretty simple to rewire.

Hey T-dawg. Its a direct replacement. If you really want to check for sure. Hook it up to the S4 conection and press the button.
