will an s4 radiator work in an s5?

I *believe* they will fit just fine. The water necks are a tad different, but that shouldnt affect your install.

My s5 radiator doesnt have a temperature plug at the bottom. does anybody know if it's in a different place on an s5?

Yep, you can easily fill the radiator completely w/o fooling with that bleed screw. That coolant buzzer has to be the most annoying sound on the planet.

When I ordered my koyo from rx7store they accidentally sent me an s5, no big whoop I figured until I tried to install it. I dunno about stock for stock but the s5 koyo is about 1/2in wider than the stock s4 one, I had to drill two new mounting holes and modify the mounting bracket a bit, but now she fits like a glove. Except until i scrounge up an s5 water neck I have two radiator caps
