s4-s5 need gauge swap?

Just wondering but would you need a gauge cluster or tach swap when you're doing a s4 to s5 swap?

No, the gauges can be swapped straight across.. I THINK it may need to have a few pins moved around, but that could be for Turbo/na. Do a search and i'm sure it will reveal more results..

Or, just try it!

searched for tachometer, didn't find any thread that looked promising, I'm pretty sure the s4 guage can go straight into the s5, just wondering if you haveta swap it. Tranny's about to go out in a few so figured while I'm doing that might as well see if I can get a S5 TII and swap the whole thing in.
