S4 to S5 on a NA

I`am hoping to create the fastest NA rx7 combo but I have run in to some problems and now I need help.
I have taken the s5 high compression light weight rotors and used a t2 center section because the ports are that much bigger on a TII center. I have ported the end housing and every thing is balanced. The problem is when I put this together I used 3rd gen rotor housing. I figured the relocation of the spark plugs would be no big deal. I have used the s5 intake manifold minus all the extra stuff basically all of the vacuum rail and all those solenoids. I have started the motor and found it is a little loopy I don’t like the way it runs. I have found the timing advances under throttle and then does not return unless you manually adjust it back I don’t know why this could be I need all the help I can get I gone to far to give up now please I need the help if some one knows why my timing may be doing this or if the 3rd gen housings are the problem let me know.
if you think you know you can conntact my email

I also work for AIM tunning the only Rx7 people in indianapolis basicaly Aimtuning.com

I have no clue. But I'm glad there are people out in the world who have this type of guts. Hope someone else can help.

You're crazy.

well this is a dead topipc but im in the process of a rebuild right now and i was thinking of doing the high compression low boost turbo on a 13b na block. Now that ive finially got the motor apart i figured i might as build it up nice. i was just wondering if the 3rd gen housings water jackets and oil galleries would line up with the 2nd gen n/a 6th port intakes.and hold the high compression 13b n/a rotors.

wow you have quite the mix! I have no idea and there is probably too much technical data and information and theory involved! Your talking three engines in one.

not 3 only 2 the turbo conversion on the na block and the 3rd gen rotor housing (1993) only cause theres a good deal some kids got for his around me right now and i was wondering if there would fit into the 13b na block cause my housings are toast. you cant resurface the inside housing wall can you im almost positive you cant because of the shape it is.

im using the na center housing i got this idea because ,my housings are shot and there are 3rd gen housings for sale by me pretty cheap. i was just wondering if there was a large difference like the water jackets or oil galleries wont line up maybe even the bolts wont line up has anyone tried this yet?

HAHAHAAHA...

This topic is so old... I was young and stupid but the combo worked great... the issues was solved when I found out that my Leading coil pack wiring clip was not snapped shut... so there was no leading spark... hence the bad idle and fucked timing... But that engine ended up going forever like 40k and still kicking and a good 10k of that was just track miles.
13b, na, s4, s5
