S4-S5 MT swap

And yes I did search...

My question - I have an '87 NA with a dead transmission and a S5 NA transmission. Both manual. Car is at a dealership (yeah i know) 400+ km away in northern Ontario. Dealer says the S5 will not fit. Here's what I need to know:

1) What parts besides the transmission might be needed?
2) Any difference in the mounts?
3) Dealer says it's a rear-mount problem - clueless?, or parts needed?

I can get the parts PDQ, just need to know what parts to get.

(It's a real PITA tring to get a car repaired over the phone)

The difference is in the rear trans mounts. Get the crossmember from a S5 and you'll be good to go.
