s4 to s5 manifold swap

hey guys,
I am nearing the end of this swap. I believe that I have everything hooked up properly with no vacuum leaks....that reminds me....If I take the boost sensor vac line off and hook up a vac guage, what should it read? I am getting 15 in. HG. My guage says "late ign. timing" I imagine that this is for a piston engine however. Anyway, the swap was hard at first ( I am a rookie). I can now take everything down to the block and back togther in no time ( I made a lot of mistakes, that I had to put on and take off and put on) The vast info on the board allowed me to get this done with me only posting 3 questions. I thank all of you. I cannot find a thread with how to hook up the RPM activated switch. (From Summit). I was hoping to get some pretty specific directions from someone. I am not real good with wiring diagrams yet. I left all emmisions junk on. I have the 6 ports hooked up to the VDI dump valve. I have the VDI hooked up to the s5 VDI solenoid, so I imagine that I hook the switch to that one, but there are 5 wires. The car fires right up and idles at 1500 for a couple of minutes, then slows down to 800. I am happy so far. Took it out on the road and it acts like it really wants to take off ( It will if you throttle it just right) But in 3rd near 6000, it bogs....I know that without the VDI open, this is to be expected. I thnk that I am on the right track. I guess this is just an update on my swap. Please hook me up with directions to wiring this damn thing. I am ready to do something to my car. This is my wifes. It all began when the PD was leaking....so as long as it is safe now I am happy.
thanxs, sorry so long
greg

I'm not sure I can entirely make sense of your question...but you are asking how to wire the VDI?

You need an RPM switch. Activate the solenoid with the RPM switch.

yes, I have the summit racing RPM switch, basically, where do I go from here? I am trying to activate the VDI.
thank you very much, I am now panicing about my daily driver not starting. Please see other thread Aaron Cake. I am so desperate. Yes, 2 different 87 gxl's.
thank you so much.
As for this car, I see 5 wires on the RPM switch, 2 prongs on the vdi solenoid....I am looking for specific directions. I am not a wiring guy (learning though)
