S4 to S5 koyo radiator differences???
ok i was about to order a new alum radiator for my 89 TII when i noticed that a S4 radiator was like 30 to 40 bucks cheaper.. so whats the big deal to make it that much more expensive. casue i know that i have an 88 SE radiator in there right now. is it a big enough ussue where i need to get the S5 radiator or can i save the 30 - 40 bucks and get the S4.. any input is greatly appreciated.. thankd

ok i was on the mazda trix web site and they also show two different part numbers but no pictures. but what i found wierd is that they had an extra heavy duty 2 pass radiator on there and it was for 86 to 89 but some modifications may be required.. so any ideas out there or what?

S4 Koyo rad does have a rad cap, just not on the large extension, its mounted in the center of the top end tank. And the extension is not on this rad.
S5 Koyo rad has the large extension with a rad cap on it.
thats the difference
The dual pass rads say some moification required becasue the inlets/outlets are positioned differently - either one would require modding to fit in either series.
